James May
James joined Radio Hillingdon last year following in
his late fathers footsteps. His dad, John May was a member
of Radio Hillingdon in the late 70's early 80's, presenting
The Friday Night request programme and an active member of
the engineering team. During his time at the station he
rebuilt the main studio 1.
John May 1949-1993 John was a member
of Radio Hillingdon from 1978 'till 1983. This picture
(right) was taken in Radio Hillingdon's studio 2 in the
late 70s. John went on to be a producer and manager at
Abbey Road, managing various bands for EMI, Polydor and
Warner Chappell records.
