2010 is our Ruby Anniversary year of broadcasting to the hospital.
From Friday 17th to Tuesday
21st September, a team of dedicated presenters will
broadcast non-stop for 25 hours each in a 100 hour
Broadcast Marathon, all in the name of charity. Some
of the proceeds from this event will be donated to the
Hillingdon Hospital Cherubs Appeal
supporting the neonatal unit of the hospital's maternity
wards.

40 years
of Hospital Radio Hillingdon
THIS year is a big year for the small radio station that
serves the patients at Hillingdon Hospital as it finally
reaches the grand old age of 40 years. To mark this great
occasion, the volunteers are planning many special events
and Hospital Radio Hillingdon is broadcasting a series of
special programmes.

Dave is one of our founder members and has recently
returned to present a special hour long programme
explaining how the station started and mapping out the key
events along the way from 1970 to 2010. Listen out for the
40th Anniversary specials at midday Monday to Friday, 9pm
on Saturdays and 5pm on Sundays.

As part of National Hospital Broadcasting Week 2010, Radio Hillingdon held an outside event in the Hospital Canteen.
